Botswana Bound!

by dhammett on March 21, 2010

God is leading me and my family to the country of Botswana, into a new area of ministry that I am very excited about. Please watch these 5 short videos to understand how this decision came about, what we are planning on doing, and how you can help. If you would like a DVD of this presentation to show your church, please contact me.

(If these videos are choppy, try pausing and allowing to buffer before watching.)

PART 1:
I have not resigned,
but I have been reassigned,
Acts 13 style!!!

PART 2:
A compelling question that demands an answer

PART 3:
A curious question that gives direction in its answer

PART 4:
A challenging question that defies an answer

PART 5:
I am not equal to the task!

These updates have been encouraging & inspirational. We appreciate your testimonies of the Lord working through you there in Africa. I will continue to share these updates with my family and our ministries here in Canada. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. God bless you ! ! !

Well, Pastor, I wish you God speed in moving to Botswana. Their gain is our lost, but who are we to question God’s will and ways. I personally will miss you and do thank you for all the teaching provided throughout the years at Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. May God implant the need for your ministry in Botswana and may many churches come aboard supporting your ministry in a foreign country. God bless you and may many souls be rescued by Christ through your ministry.

Knowing that your heart is for missions I had the thought that you were going to end up on some mission field when you got the green light from the Lord. I rejoice with you.
I want to thank you, Bev and your family for all the help, prayers and love that was poured out in my life and my family while members there for 20 years.
I will continue to pray for you and your family.
May God bless you richly and continue to direct your path!

Wishing Pastor Hammett and his Family our best, and GOD’s BEST BLESSINGS over you
We can’t wait to hear about what GOD is using you-all there for. TO GOD be all GLORY. Amen.
What a GOD Sent Privilege it is to have Pastor Roland become our head Shepard in GOD’s HOUSE
I can’t think of a more polite way GOD could have shown Pastor Hammett Sr. this
My Soul rejoices over knowing Pastor Rowland is given to us by GOD
This is one high quality, knowing and caring individual whom I personally am amazed over
He truly has the heart of the Church in mind, and has not been swallowed up by the World’s
political correctness and science, rather, his heart and his giving remain PURE as snow.
IN GOD WE TRUST

Brother Hammett,
I just wanted to say I’m SO GLAD to hear that there will soon be a permanent Missionary to Botswanna. This truly is an answer to prayer! The opportunties there are TRULY GREAT and I pray God would give you many souls in the years to come. It was so refreshing for me to have ministered there for just a few short weeks and I still hope to be able to go back again, if the Lord wills. May God bless you for you willingness to leave the comforts of America to minister for him overseas. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!

I sit here in my home recovering from back surgery and going through many notes, books, websites to put together some Bible studies for people in the community I’m living in. I came across your Sermon Audio recording on Salvation and it hit me how blessed I was to have come to LVBC under your leadership. That and being providentially paired with Sally could not have been better. God bless you, your family and your mission always. Thank you!
