Interviews

In this interview with Dr Ron Tottingham we are asking about how to reach and cultivate a ministry with men in the church.
So many churches seem to be able to attract women and children, but are unable to awake the heart of men. What can be done about that?

Ronald Tottingham is the founding pastor of Empire Baptist Temple, Sioux Falls, SD.
Erich McCandless is now the Senior Pastor there.

Some of the subjects we cover in this interview are…

What kind of man must a pastor be to reach men in ministry?

What is lacking that causes ministries to not be filled with men serving the Savior?

How can the grade school experience prepare boys to grow into men?

What are men looking for in a pastor?

Several questions surrounding ministry matters were discussed in this inteview, including…
In our day, a lot of churches, and ministries, pastors have abandoned personal separation standards. I’m not looking to get you to criticize them, but I’m wondering, your church has kept a very high standard and done so in the same day which other people are living. Your view on that, and how have you kept the standard where it is with the world going the way it’s going.

Thanks for listening. You know your ministry does not have to stagnate or die. If you want to get out of the box and into the book, get some help right now. Give me a shot at pdhammett @ gmail.com. We’ll discuss what you need and recommend a course of action.
