by dhammett on August 6, 2013

You may not be familiar with Mark Eaton. But as an NBA player he still holds the record for the most blocked shots in a year, 456.

His advice comes from a brief encounter with the legendary Wilt Chamberlain and is great advice for everyone. Yes everyone!

What do Demons and Anger have in Common?

by dhammett on January 31, 2013

I should recommend more materials than I do, but when I recommend something you know it will be worth your time.

This MP3 is free…but don’t let the cost fool you, it is worth it’s weight in gold.

S. M. Davis has been a friend for over 30 years. I have watched his life and ministry and know that he lives what he teaches.

His teaching on anger is unique and I thought about as complete as he could make it.

Now he has outdone himself. He has put out a message on “The Demon-Like Nature of Anger” that is stellar and may just be life liberating for multitudes.

This message…
• Unlocks a difficult passage on anger
• Answers critics #1 objection to his teaching on anger
• Gives insight on #1 problem that has destroyed families and derailed ministries (my estimation)

I cannot recommend this message highly enough. Go get it while it is free for the taking at Solve Family Problems.

A young preacher submitted a few sermon illustrations and asked for some “honest feedback”.

Here it is…it may be of help to others asking, how do I craft a sermon illustration.

There is much more to building a sermon illustration…but this is a great beginning.

For the quickest selection of a sermon illustration and the most powerful illustrations available check out this resource.
