Immigration Officers Get Bibles

by dhammett on October 11, 2013

We got an early start today and met at the Immigration Office in Francistown. We were able to meet with the officers first and thank them for their work for the country and on behalf of foreigners like myself.

I challenged them that the kings of Israel were to write their own copy of the Word of God so they could know how to properly govern. In turn, if they are to properly serve, they too should know the Word of God.

We were able to deliver 60 copies of the Word of God with testimony tracts, gospel literature and a copy of the first lesson in our Correspondence Study.

Following the meeting with the Officers I was able to address more of the workers and customers of the Immigration office. I encouraged them to learn the Word of God and we gave them a testimony tract with the Correspondence Bible Study offer.

Before I left I had several people who had enrolled in the studies and one lady chased me down on the stairwell and wanted to know where we meet in town. She promised to be there on Sunday morning.

All in all, it was a great morning!
