Lords Supper Teaching - Mokobo Botswana

It was truly a grand service. As so often it is when teaching with this method. Instead of telling everyone what to believe, we simply study the Scriptures verse by verse. This Sunday, 4/7/2013, we opened the gospels to see the Institution of the Lords Supper by Jesus.

We noted who belongs at the table, what the meaning of the elements are, why to observe the Supper and what the purpose of the Lords Supper is all about.

As so often in the case…one by one the people responded to the question, ‘what has God taught you?’. They responded with how they have been doing wrong for so long. Inviting just anyone to the table. Using the wrong elements. Not focusing on the work of Christ.

They then affirmed how they want to obey God and His Word. It is so refreshing everytime I hear and see how these folks respond at the Bible Baptist Mission of Mokobo, Botswana. Pray for them and for me!
